The marble-cement agglomerate, produced and provided by Agglotech in a completely custom-designed color, evokes the elegance of its precursor, Venetian seminato, within Bologna’s Signorvino wine shop. Used for all of the shop’s flooring, it lends greater harmony to the entire space.

The project
The wine shop was created with the goal of promoting the excellence of local Italian wines, while providing a culinary service centered around the simplicity of Italian cuisine.
For this project, the designers selected a custom-made color of Venetian terrazzo featuring reddish hues. With its marble aggregate of varying colors and sizes, this high-impact material embodies the allure of ancient Rome in perfect harmony with the traditional, cross-vaulted ceilings of the dining area.
The Venetian flooring has a gloss finish that lends a unique, unmistakable look to the space in a natural interplay with the modern furnishings, metal design features, and wood inserts.
Having no visible joints between the terrazzo slabs gives a sense of greater space and unity, while lending the shop an air of pure elegance.
