In 2001, work began on the redevelopment of the Royal Academy of Arts, Britain’s oldest art academy. David Chipperfield Architects, an internationally renowned architectural firm involved in the project, did not hesitate to reach out to Agglotech and our partner and exclusive distributor for the UK, InOpera Group, for the provision of our best terrazzo flooring, stair cladding, and sculpted terrazzo.

The project
InOpera, our trusted partner and reseller for the UK, provided two custom colors of terrazzo for the gallery and for certain common areas, featuring white Carrara and Botticino marble. Exclusively for the Benjamin West Lecture Theatre, Agglotech created terrazzo stairs out of 20cm sculpted elements that were cut and shaped in our factory. The distinctive trait of this project is its masterful inlay of Calacatta Lincoln marble.
