Agglotech collaborated on a residential project in Sweden, providing the company’s Venetian terrazzo for the cladding of the stairs and landings inside the building. The two colors selected were SB100 and SB171.

The project
A part of Agglotech’s Unico line, the SB100 white Venetian terrazzo was used for most of the stairs and landings. This particular type of terrazzo features a white cement base that adds light and sparkle to the settings in which it is used. The gray marble aggregate with marble chips of various sizes exalt the building’s interior design and create elegant glints of light.
Slabs of SB171 Nero Venato Venetian terrazzo, from Agglotech’s Classico line, were used to emphasize the first and last steps of each ramp of stairs. This high-impact contrast of the dark tones of the SB171 marble aggregate set in a base of black cement against the bright white of the SB100 terrazzo gives the building its decisively unique character.
