The project
The Paradise City Hotel & Resort is much more than a luxury hotel. It is also home to Korea’s largest casino, a 1,600-seat convention room, a spa and wellness center, and numerous spaces dedicated to art, exhibits, and other events.
This major project featured four different colors of Agglotech marble-cement agglomerate, including SB139 Cenere, SB149 Fumo, and SB153 Ecru, all of which are from the company’s popular Micro Terrazzo line, which stands out for the color consistency made possible by the particularly fine marble aggregate used. The fourth, SB159 Ricotta, is a light, vibrant terrazzo from the Unico line, used for the façade at the entrance to the hotel. It features a very light-colored cement base and small chips of marble with a darker gray hue.
Made exclusively from natural materials and without the use of resins, Agglotech terrazzo was found to be the best product for the exterior cladding of this prestigious resort, as it ensures excellent resistance to wear in an elegant, refined material.
