Hoban Avenue France

For the Hoban Avenue France project, Agglotech worked with the Korean partner Gayoung Ceramics for the provision of Venetian terrazzo, colors SB147 Mahogany and SB1000 Thassos. The marble cement was used for a portion of the building’s flooring, as cladding for the interior columns, and as cladding for certain exterior portions of the building.

The project
The goal, which the designers achieved with great success, was to create a modern, sophisticated design for the location. A feature of the project was the contrast of the two colors of terrazzo chosen for the interior of the building, and namely: SB1000 Thassos white for the flooring and SB147 Mahogany for the columns.
The marble used for the SB1000 Thassos white terrazzo is special in that the marble aggregate comes directly from quarries on the island of Thassos, Greece. Agglotech technicians found this material by visiting the Greek island in person in order to select the perfect marble for this vibrant color of terrazzo.
The ability to choose from a vast array of colors, from the most traditional to the most unique, together with the great many uses of this material, have made Agglotech terrazzo a favorite among architects and designers around the world.
