The project

Our SB130 Venetian terrazzo was used for all of the interior flooring of the Crelan offices. This terrazzo flooring, which features marble chips of varying sizes and colors set in a deep gray cement base, lends a touch of Italian charm to the modern elegance of these spaces. In both the lobby and the numerous offices, the minimalist decor is in harmony with the Venetian flooring, which evokes the history and tradition of Venetian seminato while, at the same time, embodying the modern allure of this office building. This marble cement was provided with a honed finish, which gives the terrazzo a smooth, matte surface that ensures slip resistance up to the R9 or R10 level as defined by the related safety standard. The sunlight filtering in through the ample windows of the building reflects off of the marble aggregate flooring, thereby illuminating the entire building while exalting the beauty that is so typical of marble.
