Agglotech, in collaboration with local partner Hafary, was selected to provide the company’s Venetian terrazzo for the flooring, for tabletops, and for two multifunctional islands in the self-service breakfast area of Singapore’s Andaz Hotel.

The project
The decision of the designers to use Venetian terrazzo for the breakfast area is an example of the versatility of this marble-cement material, which can be used as flooring, cladding, or the creation of sculpted elements such as rounded tabletops.
A harmonious complement to the elegant design, fluid spaces, and warm mustard tones, color version SB102 from the “Unico” line of Venetian terrazzo features light-colored, small-chip and mid-sized marble aggregate set against a background of gray Portland cement.
In addition to its elegant design, Agglotech’s Venetian flooring is highly versatile and resistant to both wear and shrinkage. These characteristics make it suited to use over large, high-traffic surface areas, precisely like the self-service breakfast area of the Andaz Hotel.
