Agglotech at Design Shanghai
The great many projects executed and our collaborations with world-renowned architectural design firms and other partners in China, South Korea and Japan underscore the central importance of the Asian market for Agglotech, having exported our terrazzo to locations ranging from the MixC Mall in Shenzhen, China, to every Valentino Store in the country. Architects, designers and businesses appreciate our terrazzo for its durability and for the versatility of its endless color combinations, including colors we custom design for specific customers or projects.
As a result, Agglotech was invited to take part in the most exclusive event for the architecture industry, Design Shanghai, which designers and other creatives from China and beyond look to for the latest trends and technologies being offered by the world’s greatest brands.
For the event, Agglotech went with a minimalist style for the company’s stand, at which our Forest Green Bubble Terrazzo stole the show with its distinctive patterns made from ringed marble aggregate nestled in a forest-green cement. Our Bubble Terrazzo line unites the ancient tradition of Venetian seminato with the sort of innovation made possible by modern technology.
Technology developed by Agglotech also makes it possible to produce slabs of this terrazzo and then cut those slabs into a wide variety of shapes and sizes. We can even sculpt interior-design elements in various sizes, including vases, mirrors, lamps, which were well received by visitors to the exhibit for this unusual use of terrazzo.
