Valentino – Hong Kong
Hong Kong
In 2017, the Italian fashion house Valentino celebrated the opening of a new flagship store in Lee Gardens, Hong Kong. For their innovative concept, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli and the renowned British architect David Chipperfield selected Agglotech’s marble-cement agglomerate for the store’s flooring, interior cladding, and façade.

The project
Lee Gardens is Causeway Bay’s premium destination, featuring an array of the most prestigious stores for fashion and lifestyle, as well as first-class restaurants and cafés.
With a total surface area of 382 square meters across two floors, Valentino’s new boutique marks a major step forward in the fashion house’s global expansion. Here, too, the terrazzo with a white marble aggregate set in a gray cement base, designed specifically for all of Valentino’s new stores, is the feature element of the overall design.
This Hong Kong project is special in that the custom-designed Venetian terrazzo provided was also used for the exterior façade of the store. With its uncompromising elegance, Agglotech’s product ensures both high levels of resistance to temperature change and extreme ease of maintenance and cleaning.
