Our terrazzo SB 178 Carrara 0/9, installed in the rear-ventilated rainscreen, proved to be perfect for this project.
The white cladding ensures excellent solar reflectivity, which helps keep the building cool in the summer.

The project
Agglotech terrazzo was chosen both for the internal wall cladding and for the building’s rear-ventilated rainscreens. Marble-cement panels measuring 120 x 60 cm were installed on a stainless-steel support structure by way of anchors attached to grooves cut into the edges of the slabs. A 20cm layer of insulation was also inserted between the marble-cement panels and the walls of the building. Cement agglomerate is particularly suited to use in rainscreens due to its extremely low coefficient of linear thermal expansion.
Our exclusive industrial process gives us the possibility to create customized materials without the use of resins: in fact, we have an archive of more than 3000 colors made over the years on specific customer requests.
